Looking for a happy hour spot close to our #Jewelbox Cottages in Pacific Grove? For an inexpensive drink and bar grub? For some fun? Yes please!
Sardine Factory
The Sardine Factory’s first nightly Happy Hour, yes first!, is offered daily from 5pm-6pm. But you can also head over from 9:30pm-10:30pm for another round. They feature $8 signature cocktails, $6 wines by the glass and $6.50 small bite starters. Their "Flaming Sardine" is the featured above: Galliano liqueur flamed in a sugar-rimmed bolla grande glass, sparkled with fresh lemon zest with Italian roast coffee
The Chart House
A great Happy Hour (but pricey for dinner). They offer a selection of drinks and bar food that is very reasonably priced. Favorites are the fish tacos, beef sliders and spicy shrimp. Not the full menu but it fills you up!
El Torito
Free chips and salsa, awesome views, and excellent Happy Hour menu. My favorite’s are the tacos and Chorizo tostadas! Plus it's worth checking out the bacon wrapped shrimp (not on the Happy Hour menu, but a must-have).
Hula's
Hula’s Happy Hour is know for their delicious Hawaiian-Californian fusion food, and their laid-back surf-shack ambience. The Tiki drinks are also a local fav. Happy Hour is from 4pm-6pm Sunday and Monday, 2pm-6pm Wednesday through Saturday and Tuesday from 2pm-close!
Spanish Bay
In the late afternoon, rain or shine, a bag piper has played along the coastline for over 30 years. The bagpiper starts on the first tee at The Links at Spanish Bay in front of STICKS, and finishes 45 minutes later at the Spanish Bay fire pits by the second green. During Daylight Saving Time, the bagpiper begins at approximately 5:45 p.m. During Standard Time, the bagpiper begins a half hour before sunset.
It's not your typical "Happy Hour," but you can save part of the cost of one drink when you drive through the Pebble Beach gate, by applying the entry fee to your bar order.
If you feel like having a walk along with your drive, park at Asilomar Beach and head across the beach to the boardwalk. The buildings immediately to your left are part of the Spanish Bay Inn. Past that are Roy's, Peppoli or Trap's...all great places to get a drink.
